Dancing Savannah 2019

The annual dance festival was a great success with over 200 participants.

Ahead of the festival, we arranged a hike into the Mbololo cloud forest. It is a UN hot-spot and has several species found only in this forest. Plants, butterflies, birds and chameleons.

Among these species is the African violet (Saintpaulia Tautentis). It remain only here in the whole world.

At the festival, the Mwazindika fired up the dances.

Several local dance troupes showed their traditional dances.

Visitors are welcome to join in the celebration.

The Masaii dance.

At sunset the majestic Kilimanjaro greeted the festival.
